coaching
With the growth of triathlon, there has been more and more of the cycle squad taking up this great sport. At every event, the 'ts' guys & girls get together to race so it seemed only natural for a ts tri squad to emerge and so it has. There are regular and constructive sessions available for athletes as the squad members train together and utilise each other's experience to improve their race performances and it has been an extremely successful and we have our own club kit now too.
The only officially 'coached' session is by Gary at the local pool on a Sunday morning where he uses his experience and qualifications to assist those who need help in the water. Gary coached very successfully in the UK before settling in Australia and is now the full-time assistant coach at the Grammar Sports club so can cater for all standards of swimmer. Please contact Gary at the shop for more details on these sessions.
However, we at the shop realise there is sometimes a need for a firmer, more constructive approach to training and for the individual who needs a daily, formalised input then the best option is to use a fully qualified coach. We heartily recommend using Ian Mayhew and his company for all your training requirements.
