I started riding motorbikes when I was 11 yrs old but only started racing them at the age of13. My first bike was an early YZ 80 and it wasn't too long before I was hooked on the sport of motorbike racing.

My racing career started at the Oxley club, otherwise known as Wheelstanders and, after a short while, I was upgraded to the B class of the 80cc division. I changed clubs shortly after to the Moreton and Districts Club and raced at Tivoli raceway where I finished 3rd in the 80cc class.

I out grew the 80cc so moved up and started riding a 125cc and I won the Tivoli club Jnr 125cc 2 years running. I turned senior in 2003 and competed in many events throughout the State, with some strong results in QLD Stadium Motocross events and other motocross events.

In 2003 and 2004 I won the Tivoli club championship Snr Lites overall. In the 2005 season I finished 2nd in the Sunshine State Series and was upgraded to the intermediate lites category for the 2006 season in which I finished 3rd in. As a result of my good showings, I have just been upgrade to a new class called Expert.

I think to be good at a sport you need to really want it. You have to be dedicated and always believe in yourself and be prepared to put in the time to practice and train hard - all while having fun so you don't wear yourself out.

Next for me the last two rounds of the Supercross Masters and I am really looking forward to competing in those.
